This table shows three countries of the U.K: Scotland, England, and Wales. Overall, these countries have few similar characteristics.
Starting with population, England has a large population ten times that of Scotland which has a population of nearly five million, and Wales have half of Scotland’s population. The three countries speak the same language English but Scotland and Wales have another language with English: Gaelic for Scotland and Welsh for Wales. Their land areas are greatly different for England, Scotland, and Wales with 130,441 – 78,000 and 20,761 respectively. Those three countries are also different in sq miles. Their economy; England and Wales sharing manufacturing. For the terrain, Scotland and Wales have mountains whereas, England is mainly flat. All of them have a cool and wet climate. They are totally different on exports with; oil, fish, and heavy engineering products for Scotland, Industrial products, pharmaceuticals, and banking services in England compared to Wales which have wool, dairy products, and coal for exports.
To sum up, none of the countries has much in common. Nevertheless, Scotland and Wales share more similarities than either does with England.
